What is your refund policy?
If you withdraw from a class prior to its start time, you will get a refund minus the $200 deposit. If you drop the class after the first class you will receive a refund minus the deposit and the class/drive time. After the first class, there are no refunds.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept online payments via Zelle (email contact@jjdriverseducation.com for the payment QR code/ID) or by check payable to J & J, LLC.
What is your absence policy?
Students must make up any missed class time. A maximum of 4 hours (2 classes) may be missed for illness, injury, or death in the family. More than 4 hours of missed class time will result in dismissal from the course.
What are your no-show fees?
Students who miss a schedule drive time will be charged a $25 fee that must be paid prior to completion of the course.
How are students notified of drive times and cancellations?
Families will be emailed weekly driving schedules that they can use to plan observation opportunities. Students may opt in to receive text message reminders of drive times. Families will be notified via email and text if class or driving is cancelled.
What grade do I need to pass the course?
To pass the course students need to receive 80% on course work including, class activities, projects, quizzes, and the final test.
Do you drive in inclement weather?
It is important students learn to drive safely in all weather conditions, but we will not drive or have class if there is a safety risk.
What if I have a 504 or IEP?
As teachers we routinely work with students who have 504s and IEPs. Please contact us directly at contact@jjdriverseducation.com to discuss accomodations and/or concerns.
